Project 96 Activities
 

Sr. High Youth Group - We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00.  At the Sr. High youth group we have a Youth Worship Band that opens up the evening.  The atmosphere is relaxed to help the youth engage in casual and meaningful conversation.  All types of media are used to portray the timeless truths of the Word of God.  We try to use methods of teaching that the kids will find interesting and appealing. 

Jr. High Youth Group - We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 - 7:45.  As you know going through Jr. High is a very trying time in your life.  You don't really know what is going on with yourself and with the world around you.  We try to make an atmosphere that is fun and inviting to the Jr. High youth.  As in the Sr. High group we use all types of media to teach the eternal Word of God.

Sr. High Bible Study - We meet on Wednesday nights from 8:00 - 9:00 and go through different books of the Bible to take the timeless truths and see how we can apply them to our lives. 

Mission Trips - Each year the Sr. High youth group takes a mission trip.  We have been to Texas and Arizona the past two years.  This year we plan to go to Utah to work with a missionary our church supports.  The church strongly believes that the youth of the church are missionaries as well and provides the funds for them to go on the mission trip.  A small deposit is required and reading a devotional and keeping a journal are also required. 

Summer Camps - Every summer we take kids from our church ages 8-19 to Whispering Winds Bible Camp in St. James, Missouri. 

Retreats - Every other year we take a boys retreat to help them become Warriors for Christ and True Men of God.  Also every other year there is a girls purity retreat.
