BIBLE CHURCH
At Rock Creek Bible Church, we stand alongside centuries of true, historical, orthodox, biblical doctrine that has come to be known as the historic Christian faith. At the core of our beliefs, you can find what are known as the 5 Solas of the Protestant Reformation.
Scripture alone. Christ alone. Grace alone. Faith alone. For the Glory of God alone.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible, in its entirety, is the infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word of God. It is God's divine revelation that carries the full weight of God's authority, for belief and life.

TRINITY
We believe there is one God, and yet within the Godhead there is a unity of three distinct yet fully divine persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe all three are eternally existent, eternally divine, and equal in power and glory.

JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, in His Incarnation born of a virgin, and truly God and truly man. We believe He has two natures united without separation, with no confusion or division. He is the visible image of the invisible God.

MAN
We believe God created mankind, both male and female, innocent and that mankind bears the imago Dei, the image of God. Yet we believe that man sinned, and caused separation with God, thus deserving death for the punishment of sin. We believe that man can do nothing to earn God’s favor and is in need of salvation.

SALVATION
Because all have sinned, atonement must be made in order for man to be reconciled to God. We believe the Person and Work of Jesus Christ, through His sinless life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, salvation has been made available, and it is a gift from God. We believe that man can only be saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, and that Jesus Christ has secured full redemption for all who repent of their sin and trust in Him alone for salvation.

HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and gives spiritual life, enables each believer to understand biblical truth, empowers each believer for godly living, and equips each believer for service and witness.

THE CHURCH
We believe that all who receive the gift of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, are born again by the Holy Spirit, and because of this alone, become the children of God. We believe Christ has established a visible church, which is called out to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, under the authority of God's Word, preaching the gospel, administering the ordinances, and vowing to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
