1 | Where and when is your Sunday service?
We meet Sunday mornings at 5257 Highway K92, Meriden. We have Sunday School for all ages at 9:30, and our worship service starts at 10:45.
2 | What should I expect the first time I visit?
If you are visiting for the first time, we want to say a hearty WELCOME! We will not embarrass you, or make you feel weird. We understand what it is like to check out a new church. We can't promise you that people won't come say "hello" and "nice to meet you," but we can promise you a relaxed atmosphere where you can see if RCBC is for you.
3 | What is the worship service like?
We sing a blend of modern songs mixed in with some great hymns of the past. Our desire is that the music is inspirational. Our sermons are taught in an expository manner, going verse-by-verse through the Bible. Our desire is that the teaching will feed your mind, and encourage your soul. Our service is causal, yet intentional. The 1st Sunday of every month is when we celebrate The Lord's Supper (communion) at the end of the worship service together. Children's ministry does not occur on these Sundays.
4 | What should I wear?
Come as you are! If it is cold, wear clothes that keep you warm. If it is hot, wear clothes that keep you cool. There is no dress code. Come in what makes you feel comfortable. RCBC is not about what you wear or how you look. You will see people dressed in a variety of clothing. Come as you are!
5 | What about my children?
We celebrate children and families at RCBC, because God does! We offer a nursery for babies and toddlers, if that is needed. Also, after we all worship together in singing, kids from K to 3rd grade can attend our children's ministry worship time. They will be taught God's Word in an interactive and engaging style, and everyone who serves in our children's ministry has passed a Ministry Safe background check, so you can have peace of mind. However, you are more than welcome to keep any age kiddo with you in the service! It does not bother us at all for you to have them in the main service with you!
6 | Do you serve coffee?
Yes we are strong believers in serving good coffee at RCBC! You can enjoy complimentary dark, light, or decaf roasts, and oftentimes volunteers are available to serve lattes and cappuccinos, as well.
We pray that you come and see what God is doing at Rock Creek Bible Church, where the teaching is solid, the music inspirational, the fellowship warm, and the coffee hot.
